ABOUT US
Darwin is a startup from India. It comprises of team of architects and engineers with a combined work experience of over 140 years between them. It is promoted by entrepreneur Abhay Mangaldas. Abhay has worked in building restoration for two and a half decades.
He has adaptively reused some of the finest buildings in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Ahmedabad to create an iconic hospitality venture.

Abhay Mangaldas is the founder and CEO of The House of MG, a Heritage Hotel (www.houseofmg.com). He is also the Managing Trustee of Shreyas Foundation (www.shreyasfoundation.in), an educational institution for children and the Advisor for Ahmedabad of the Indian National Trust for Arts and Cultural Heritage (INTACH, www.intach.org).
Since the last two decades, his work deals with adaptively reusing tangible and intangible heritage, children's education or in sensitizing people to their legacy and, in the process, rethinking context and relevance of heritage in lifestyle and design of today. He holds a MSc degree in Mass Communication from Boston University.
Also a health and fitness enthusiast, he is fifty something, unmarried and he lives and works in Ahmedabad.
